Football
Dear Parent/Guardian
Your child has expressed an interest in playing school football in the North-Western Junior Football Union (NWJFU) for Wynyard High School. Games will commence in Week 3 of Term 2. There will be a mix of games that will take place after school (3:30pm-5:00pm) and during school. While the school will provide transportation to playing venues during school hours, parents/guardians are responsible for arranging transport for their child to and from venues outside of school hours.
Participation in the team requires students to adhere to our school's values and expectations. Failure to do so may affect their eligibility for selection. Your cooperation in ensuring our students represent Wynyard High School with integrity, sportsmanship, and respect both on and off the field is an expectation.
Students are required to wear a provided football jumper during matches and are encouraged to wear navy blue shorts and socks. They also need football boots and a mouthguard.
A roster will be sent home as soon as it is finalised by the NWJFU with further information.
Registration is $20 and must be paid to the school. For students to participate they must sign up to Player HQ here: Register | PlayHQ and complete an electronic permission form here: 7/8 Boys Football Permission Form by Friday, 2 May.
